Show Your City: Manchester City’s finest fans reveal the new home jersey in style by Aaron› 6 Jul 2012

Back in May, Umbro and Manchester City asked fans of the club to come up with ideas on how they would reveal the club’s new jerseys. We wanted the interesting, the unusual, the outlandish – and we got them! Picking our favorites from all the ideas entered, we then sent a film crew to make those ideas a reality. Following City fan Kevin Cummins getting his wish to picture Noel Gallagher and Vincent Kompany together, this video shows some of the other great ideas that Umbro and City have helped to bring to life. Climbing mountains, recreating classic MCFC moments and shooting the new Manchester City home jersey into space via a balloon – these are certainly some of the more unusual ways in which a soccer jersey has been unveiled!

As Manchester City look forward to the new season as reigning Premier League Champions, they can be sure that they’ll be looking good, and that they’ve got some of the most creative fans around.
