Show Your City: MCFC fan and volunteer turns up the heat by Aaron› 11 Jul 2012

Throughout the week, we’re highlighting the fantastic winning ideas that were entered into our Show Your City competition, run by Umbro and Manchester City to find unusual and exciting ways to launch the club’s new kits. Today, the video above highlights Chris Atkinson, who is a big Manchester City fan and also a volunteer firefighter in his spare time. Chris wanted to unveil the shirt whilst on duty with the Greater Manchester Fire Service, highlighting the links that City have with different groups throughout Manchester and beyond. In the video above, Chris tells us about his passion for Manchester City and his valuable volunteer work.

We’ll be looking at all the great winning ideas to our Show Your City competition all this week, as we celebrate the release of the new Manchester City kits for the 2012/13 season, as the club return to action as Premier League champions.
