It’s all about the 1980s this week, as our trawl through the Umbro shirt archive reaches the decade of Liverpool’s dominance on the pitch, and a ban for English clubs in Europe. Included in the images we’ve uploaded to our Facebook Timeline this week are some England and Manchester City classics such as the shirt above, many of which have been referenced recently in modern football shirt designs.
