Traditionally Everton have been blue for most of their history, but one more unusual colour has also played an important part in the Toffee's past: salmon. This unlikely shade was on the kits when Everton first won the league back in 1891, before the Blues settled on the colour that is now synonymous with the club.
Now, as the club look forward to an exciting 2016/17 season with new manager Ronald Koeman at the helm, we're excited to unveil a new away kit that combines that salmon colour with a sharp dark navy blue to create a stunning new away kit. Diamond mesh technology on the main body of the kit gives an eye-catching look to the kit, which also features salmon trim on the collar and cuffs.
On the back neck area of the shirt, the co-ordinates of Goodison Park feature alongside a special graphic inspired by the Archibald Leitch-designed main stand at the ground, so fans and players will always have a part of home with them when they travel.
With under-arm panels to aid ventilation and movement, the shirt might be inspired by Everton's past, but it's packed with the latest in technology and footballing insight. Pre-order your Everton 2016/17 away shirt now to show your support this summer.
