January might be close to freezing here in the UK, so we thought that you might appreciate some new shirts from Umbro's Latin American teams to warm the cockles a little bit. This time of year is when most of the domestic and international teams unveil their new shirts for the forthcoming season and the final stages of the World Cup qualification campaign.

The latest club to reveal their smart new shirts is Universitario, the most successful club in Peruvian history. As you can see in the picture above, Los Cremas have continued the classic, smart designs of recent years with this stylish cream shirt with red detailing. You can see more pictures of their new home shirt over on Facebook, and the club's new away shirt will also be unveiled soon.

Travelling due south from Peru, one of Chile's finest teams have also been showcasing their new home and away kits. Standing proud as Chile's most successful club ever (I can see a pattern emerging here...), Club Social Y Deportivo Colo-Colo recently unveiled their 2013 home and away kits which you can see in all their glory here.
