The world according to UMBRO

Founded as Humphrey Brother's clothing in 1920, Umbro became 'Umbro' by blending talents and syllables in 1924:

Humphrey Brother's

For over 80 years we have been associated with the greatest national and international sides.

The Spurs team in the 1960s completed the first league and cup double wearing Umbro, as did Manchester United in their fantastic treble season. Celtic saw European Cup victory and Liverpool’s first four European Cup successes all came in our kit.

Many famous clubs wear Umbro, including five times French Champions Olympique Lyonnais, Russian giants CSKA Moscow and Brazilian masters Santos.

An incredible 15 out of the 16 teams in the 1966 World Cup Finals wore Umbro. In 1966 Geoff Hurst wore the classic red England jersey whilst scoring his hat-trick, and legends Pele, Jairzinho, Rivalinho, Rivaldo and Ronaldo wore Umbro to help Brazil win the trophy four times.
