Darren Bent
Making regular appearances at the top of the scoring charts, striker Darren Bent had remained relatively under the radar during his time playing football for Ipswich, Charlton and Tottenham Hotspur. However, that all changed when Bent moved to Sunderland in 2009, where he struck a fine vein of form and rose to prominence in the Premier League thanks to his pace and eye for goal.
After a successful period in the north-east, during which he became a regular member of Fabio Capello's England squad, Darren made a big money move to Aston Villa in January 2011. The move has not affected Bent's scoring form, with 6 goals already for his new club, and 3 goals in 3 games for England.
