JOE HART Hart was the England Under-19 �keeper when he joined Manchester City and made his first team debut on October 14, 2006, against Sheffield United. He kept a clean sheet in a goalless draw.

He won his first England cap in June 2008 against Trinidad and Tobago. He was named in the PFA Team of the Year for the 2009/10 season and included in Fabio Capello�s England Squad for the World Cup in South Africa 2010 SHREWSBURY - 19 APRIL 1987

ADAM JOHNSON Born in Sunderland, the left winger began his career at Middlesbrough. He made his senior debut at 17 on May 17 2005 in a UEFA Cup tie at Sporting Lisbon. His Premier League debut came six months later in a 2-1 victory over Arsenal at The Riverside.

Adam was capped at Under-19 level and went on to play 19 games for England Under-21s, scoring four goals, being part of the squad that contested the European Championship finals in Sweden.

His eye-catching start to life at City saw him named in England's provisional squad for the 2010 World Cup Finals. His full international debut was an impressive, if brief, cameo against Mexico in May 2010 SUNDERLAND - 14 JULY 1987

JACK WILSHERE He joined Arsenal in 2001 as a nine-year-old and has enjoyed a meteoric rise through the Club�s ranks ever since. By 16 he had made his Reserve team debut and was soon part of Ars�ne Wenger�s first-team squad.

Jack became Arsenal�s youngest ever League player when he came on as a substitute in a 4-0 victory at Blackburn in September 2008. He was just 16 years 256 days at the time.

Jack made his senior England debut aged 18 in the 2-1 victory over Hungary at Wembley on 11th August 2010 STEVENAGE - 1 JANUARY 1992

KIERAN GIBBS Kieran first shot to prominence during the FA Youth Cup run in 2007, grabbing a goal in both legs of the last-four defeat to Manchester United. In September 2007, Gibbs signed a professional contract with Arsenal

Gibbs was called up for the England U21 squad for up-coming 2009 UEFA European Under-21 Championship in Sweden.

He made his full England debut during the 2-1 defeat of Hungary on 11th August 2010 PURLEY - 26 SEPTEMBER 1989

CONNOR WICKHAM Connor joined Town's academy as a first year scholar in 2009/10. He became Ipswich Town�s youngest player in the Club's history when he came on as a second-half substitute against Doncaster in April 2009 aged 16 years and 11 days.

He was capped by England at school boy level and scored the winning goal for the Under-17's at the 2010 European Championship in Liechtenstein. HEREFORD - 31 MARCH 1993

SAIDO BERAHINO Saido became the first player to be signed by the Baggies' Centre of Excellence from inner-city kids football team Phoenix United. He was also part of England's Under-17 2010 European Championship-winning squad.

He made his England debut against Scotland to help the Under-16s win the Victory Shield for the eighth successive season

THOMAS CRUISE Undoubtedly one of the most-improved youngsters last term, left-back Thomas continued to star for the Under-18s and enjoyed a prolonged spell in the Reserves after Kieran Gibbs� promotion to the first team. With great work-rate, strength and clinical distribution, the 18-year-old defender has all the required attributes of a modern-day full-back

Although he has featured at centre-back for the Academy, Tom played every minute of Arsenal�s Youth Cup campaign on the left of the defence during his first season as a professional. ISLINGTON, LONDON - 9 MARCH 1991

ERIC DIER When Eric was 8, he went on a training-trial for Sporting's youth team which he passed and found himself playing against kids 3 years older than him. After having impressive seasons with the Sporting youth teams, the Portuguese club offered Dier a professional contract with the Sporting A-tea. After turning down teams like Man United and Chelsea, he signed a professional contract with Sporting in April 2010. Eric has represented England at U17 level. CHELTENHAM - 15 JANUARY 1994

FERN WHELAN She was named the FA Young Player of the Year for the 2007�08 season. Whelan has represented England at Under-15, 19 (as captain), 20 and 23 levels, playing in the UEFA Under-19's European Championships, and in the FIFA Under-20's World Cup Finals in Chile in November 2008.

She received her first call-up to the England senior squad in October 2009. LIVERPOOL - 5 DECEMBER 1988

GEORGE THORNE George was also part of England Under-17s 2010 European Championships-winning squad. He was part of the England Under-16s side that won the Victory Shield in December 2008 and the prestigious Montaigu tournament in France, in April 2009.

LUKE WILLIAMS He made his league debut on 28 December 2009, coming on as a 73rd minute substitute in a 2-1 defeat against Barnsley. In doing so, Williams became the youngest Middlesbrough player in over a century, aged just 16 years and 200 days. Williams made his first Middlesbrough start against Coventry City.

JORDAN HENDERSON Has played for both England U19s and U20s. In the 2009�10 season Henderson broke into the Sunderland first team and made several Premier League appearances. He scored his first senior goal for the club against Birmingham City in the Carling Cup 3rd round.

BEN AFOBE One of the stars of the season as Arsenal Under-18s lifted the Premier Academy League for the second successive year. Last season Ben also began to make an impact England�s Under-17s, playing a year ahead of his age group. LEYTON, LONDON - 12 FEBRUARY 1993

JOSH MCEACHRAN A first full-time year of genuine progress in 2009/10 was capped when Josh was in the England Under 17 side that won the European Championship. Very comfortable on the ball and with vision and passing to match, he was a regular in the youth team when still a schoolboy and has been with Chelsea since the age of eight. OXFORD - 1 MARCH 1993

WILLIAM KEANE He was part of the Milk Cup-winning squad in summer 2009 and has since gone on to sign professional forms with United. His performances overall earned him the prestigious Jimmy Murphy Young Player of the Year trophy and United's end-of-season awards ceremony.

Keane, who has caught the eye of first-team boss Sir Alex Ferguson no less, also regularly represents England at youth level STOCKPORT - 11 JANUARY 1993

ROBERT HALL Signed by West Ham at the age of 12, Robert has made big strides since he joined the club. Robert scored on his debut for West Ham under-18s at just 14 years of age.

He has since gone on to represent England at Under-17 level making his debut against Denmark on 28/07/2009.

AHMAD BENALI Born just five minutes away from Maine Road, Ahmad Benali has been part of Manchester City's youth setup for the last ten years. Now on the fringes of the first team squad, Ahmad impressed the club�s hierarchy with 18 goals for the reserves last season.

He�s also caught the eye at international level with his ability to switch between midfield and attack, plus his impressive striking rate, leading to caps for England�s Under 16 and Under 17 teams. MANCHESTER - 7 FEB 1992

ELIKEM AMENKU Elikem played for England Under-16s last season. He is a left-footed central midfielder who joined the West Bromwich Albion Academy at Under-13s level and is a good athlete as well as being technically sound. BIRMINGHAM - 29 JULY 1994

JADE BAILEY Playing in boys teams until the age of eleven, Jade Bailey was spotted by Arsenal Ladies and invited to train with their girls team. Now 14, she's progressed through the ranks at the club, and has recently joined up with England's under-17 squad.
