AW25 Northern Quarter Collection

They say there’s no place like home. That’s why we ran it back to the Northern Quarter again, the place where football, music, and fashion collide. This time, we focused on the NQ’s most iconic music venues.

The music scene here continues to galvanise the community through its spirit of innovation and evolution. Shot inside Soup, a venue as raw and real as the Northern Quarter itself, the campaign brings together three rising voices from the scene — James, Ellie, and Time Flies — to front a collection that speaks to the power of community and creativity.

James is the head booker and event programmer at Soup, a key figure in the Northern Quarter’s music scene. Having started out behind the bar years ago, his deep passion for music and commitment to supporting the independent scene have earned him a respected and much-loved place in the community.

Ellie is a music lover and DJ in her own right, playing under pseudonym nora, and working her way through the Manchester scene.

Time Flies is the brainchild of Ethan  and Finley, two friends brought together by a shared passion for discovering and playing new music. Over the past three years, they’ve played across various Northern Quarter venues, steadily fostering a loyal community around electronic music.

The AW25 NQ collection lives  in that spirit of constant renewal, taking inspiration from sports DNA to reinterpret timeless  silhouettes and graphics through a contemporary lens for a multi-faceted collection of casual sports-inspired streetwear.

The Reversible Crew Top celebrates the unique blend of football, music and fashion for which Manchester and Umbro have become synonymous. The A-side of the garment takes clear cues from understated lightweight training garments while the reverse features a striking ‘club night’ graphic.

Key outerwear styles include the Waxed Cagoule, inspired by the intersection of football culture and streetwear, and the Fleece Coach Jacket, a classic style delivered in chunky sherpa fleece, emblazoned with Umbro’s distinctive oversized double diamond motif.

These pieces, and the wider collection, continue to riff on the spirit of creative renewal which the SS25 collection established. Real faces. Real stories. Real sounds.
