Brazil’s Fluminense have dropped a new Away kit for 23/224 to honour the clubs 1952 Copa Rio victory.
The Copa Rio was one of the first intercontinental competitions in Brazil, contested by clubs from Austria, Germany, Portugal, Paraguay, and Uruguay. The 1952 tournament was held at Maracanã Stadium and Fluminense won the two-legged final 2-1 on points to claim the title for the first time.
The 23/24 Away kit keeps it simple but stylish with traditional green, red and white stripes across the chest. Further details include a white V-neck collar, sleeves featuring a sublimated diamond pattern and trims popped in red. At the bottom of the jersey, the design of the original cup has also been included for the perfect finishing touch.
To complete the look, a unique signoff featuring the club’s colours has been included on the inside of the neck as well as the hem.
The 23/24 Fluminense Away kit will be available to fans from 06.04.23 via www.umbro.com/br.
