ARIES X UMBRO
As part of our Centenary celebrations, we have teamed up with London-based luxury streetwear brand Aries for a third instalment of our much-celebrated collaboration.
Taking inspiration from our rich football archive and historic relationship with the English game, Aries has created an exclusive celebratory “red, white, and blue” 8 part sportswear collection, just in time for the Euros 2024 kick-off.
The collection features two classic football jerseys, a goalkeeper jersey, football shorts and kit accessories plus 100 “centenary” limited-edition navy-blue lace football jerseys.
Aries have resurrected the iconic “Aries A-Rose" graphic from their archive and have repeated it across the football jerseys as a subtle all-over print backdrop, paying homage to the “English Rose”.
The Goalkeeper jersey features a tonal black print of a mythical Lion’s representative of England's history with the legendary creature. For those unfamiliar, Aries is renowned for its mythological references, which are prominently featured in this design. The jersey showcases an all-over print including the Latin motto: "If you kill it, it will come back stronger.
The back of all the jerseys features the original "Centenary" graphic, emblazoned with the number "100." This design has been created by combining the Aries x Umbro iconic collaborative font seen in previous collaborations, with our “double diamond” logo, referencing all three elements of this collaboration: Aries, Umbro, and 100 years.
