Umbro Italia have joined forces with cultural institution Slam Jam to drop a second capsule collection.
Founded in 1989 by Luca Benini, Slam Jam have championed the underground long before the term streetwear even existed, connecting tribes of like-minded people. Today it uses its credibility and experience within this community to promote the style and attitudes of subculture.
For Autumn/Winter ’23, the collection continues its exploration into terrace culture, drawing on those truly unique moments that take place on the pitch that unite both players and fans.
“Penalty Culture” draws from football’s influence on the everyday lives and the community of people who follow it. The ethos is reflected within the collection through match day essentials including a long sleeve jersey and matching shorts, tracksuits, hoodies, scarves and classic pieces such as a sweatshirts, knitwear and a harrington jacket.
